I would propose that I would work with my fellow Councillors, the Mayor and
Civic Administration to develop policies to encourage the development of new
affordable housing in the city.   I would also work with the other levels of
government to access programs for funding to provide this support as well.    I
would also invite the various community groups that are involved in this area
for new ideas to support this.     In addition, I feel that it is important to
maintain and upgrade the existing affordable housing as needed and there should
be programs to encourage this as well.

My platform is that strong families create a strong community and I feel that
affordable housing is a critical issue for the city for it's residents....I
will work on this issue if elected for the residents of my ward and the City.
