What got me into running into the civic election was my concern for the lack of low income housing. I have been looking for a new home since June 2008. With our house fire late July 2009 I'm still residing at a hotel unable to find affordable housing. I am a Social Service recipient and very persistent to ensure all housing needs are met. I agree it is critical and will do all I can for city council to understand the dire need to ensure shelter needs are met in abundance for people of domestic violence, fire, any emergency, low income, Social Service recipients and the homeless.
