Kikinaw Residence

The YWCA Kikinaw Women's residence has 50 single rooms and one room with 3 beds. There are communal bathrooms on each floor and communal kitchens on two of the floors. Each room has a small fridge, a sink, storage space and a bed with bedding.

We offer a safe, affordable home for single women. Many of the women who live here were homeless before they came to the YWCA and many have mental health and addiction issues. We provide support with daily life skills and problem solving. Our staff offer supportive counselling and referrals within the community which help women create stability for themselves.

As part of the residence, we have specific programs such as support for teens and for those who have been released from a Federal Correctional Facility and are on parole.

Renting a room
If you wish to rent a room, call 525-2141 and ask for the residence worker to enquire about availability. Since we are often at full capacity, it is best to call after the 15th of the month to check if we have a room opening at the end of the month. We will book the room for you when we receive a non-refundable deposit of $50.00.
