"Anything Goes..." Store
The YWCA Regina's
second hand store is located at 1940 McIntyre Street. "Anything
Goes" is operated collectively by the YWCA staff and
volunteers.
We receive so many
donations of goods that we felt that we needed to start to
recycle them back into the community while raising funds for
our programs including the Big Sisters program, the Isabel
Johnson Shelter and the Children Who Witness Violence program.
All donations of
goods are first given to the Isabel Johnson Shelter families
and our single women residents. Items that are not needed
immediately are put into the store, thus allowing our clients
to pick up items they may need. When storage of items becomes
impossible, selected items are forwarded to one of the other
agencies in Regina, for example the Food Bank.
If anyone has items
to donate, please call 525-2141; items can be dropped off
at the YWCA, 1940 McIntyre Street. Unfortunately, we are not
able to pick up items, but we encourage people to support
the worthwhile programs at the YWCA as well as making use
of no longer needed items.
