YWCA Regina serves the community from Treaty 4 lands. Treaty 4 is home to the Saulteaux, Cree, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota peoples, as well as the homeland of the Métis. We thank Indigenous people for being stewards of these lands. We acknowledge the strength and resilience of Indigenous women and recognize their ongoing leadership and community building.

  • Emergency receiving shelters for children

  • Childcare centres

  • Interventions for children that have been exposed to violence

  • Mentoring programs for children and youth

  • Annual awards program, recognizing the achievements of women across southern Saskatchewan

  • Conference and in-school programs to empower children and youth

  • The Encore Market, an affordable thrift store

We welcome you to be involved in your community YWCA.

Our Mission

The YWCA Regina supports women and families in the realization of their full potential which benefits the community as a whole.

End 1: Safety and Security

Women and families are safe and free from gender-based violence. They have access to safe, affordable, and stable housing.

End 2: Holistic Approach to Healthy Lifestyles

Women and families are empowered and supported in accessing tools and navigating systems to advance their wellness and are thriving, respected, and valued through the process.

End 3: Achieving Equality and Advancement

The community benefits from the full and equal inclusion and advancement of women and families because their experiences and perspectives are built into the foundation of all facets of society.
